Our Reception children maintained our track record of high outcomes. The number of children reaching the Early Learning Goal compares favourably against national, county and local outcomes.

Preston Hedge’s Phonics Screening pass rate:

2016 – 97%

2017 – 97%

2018 – 98%

Every disadvantaged pupil has passed the Phonics Screening at Preston Hedge’s since its introduction.

2018-2019 Priorities linked to Pupil Outcomes:

Maintain our Outstanding grade for outcomes by increasing the number of pupils reaching gd in R/W/M in Year 6 to 30%+ in 2019 and 34%+ in 2020.

To ensure our Phonics outcomes are sustained at 95%+

Enhance the progress of 2a girls in Maths
