Our Other Highlights

Disadvantaged pupils in 2017 outperformed non-disadvantaged pupils at Preston Hedge’s achieving higher scales scores in each of the SAT’s – Reading, Maths and SPAG!

Our Phonics outcomes in 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017 have been in the top 5% Nationally with 95%, 95%, 97% & 97% of pupils passing the screening.

1/307 – More of our children (47%) reached greater depth in Writing than at any other school in Northampton shire in 2017!

 

Reception outcomes

Our Reception children maintained our track record of high outcomes. The number of children reaching the Early Learning Goal compares favourably against national, county and local outcomes.

Every disadvantaged pupil has passed the Phonics Screening at Preston Hedge’s since its introduction.
