Sports

Premium

Sport is incredibly important to us, not just because of the healthy benefits for all our pupils, but because it teaches our pupils about resilience, determination and co-operation.

We are passionate about opening our pupils’ eyes to a wide range of sports, which encourage them to enjoy sport and ensure they are active during school and beyond. Highlights from our sports offering include Karate, trampolining, archery and many more; we are determined to continue to offer a wide range of opportunities to our pupils during their time at Preston Hedges.

The school receives additional funding from the government to support children to be more active.

Schools have a duty to report how we have used the Sports Premium funding.

Here is the the review of the funding spent in 2022-23: Sports Premium Strategy Funding Review 2022-23
