Equality & Diversity

Ensuring that our children have an understanding of social equality and injustice is incredibly important to us, therefore we actively take all opportunities to give our children a real understanding of equality and diversity.

We build this understanding throughout our wider curriculum and through our RPSHE curriculum, and Mrs Straiton, delivers fortnightly assemblies around key areas to raise awareness for all of our children.

This year, Mrs Straiton has set up our Equality & Diversity Champions to continue to spread the good work from our RHSCE education. Alongside Mrs Straiton, they help to ensure that our values of respect stay at the heart of the school!

We are very proud of our fantastic children here at Preston Hedge’s – they celebrate both difference and similarities that are inherent in us all and want the very best for each other!
