Pleasingly, we have been able to keep our school open and provide childcare for a small number of children of key workers, whilst supporting our most vulnerable
children.

 

 

As a staff team, we are passionate about providing this care and will do so for as long as it is required.

I would like to say a huge heart felt thank you to all of you who are on the frontline and who are keeping us going. You are all stars!

Preston Hedge’s isn’t open over Easter, but we are working with our family of schools to provide free sports provision for the children of key workers and our most vulnerable children at Pineham Barns Primary School.

We will be opening to children of key workers and our most vulnerable children on the Training Day (Monday 20th April) as we feel that this is important.

The guidance we have received from the Government is that schools will be closed for the immediate future. We do not know when we will be asked to reopen and return to business as usual.

Lastly, all the staff are really missing our super children and cannot wait for the moment when we can welcome them all back. Until then, stay safe and take care.
